Check out these tips for laundry day!

1. Use white vinegar to soften your towels. Add 1 cup of white vinegar and wash your towels in hot water to keep them feeling fresh!

2. Do the laundry more frequently. Doing smaller, more frequent loads of laundry may make your clothes cleaner! Your washing machine needs space to move things around to get them as clean as possible.

3. Use baking soda as a deodorizer. Baking soda helps to break up particles left by detergent or hard water that lock in odor-causing bacteria. Use baking soda when necessary by adding 1/2 cup to the washing machine.

4. Use ice cubes to dewrinkle your clothes. Toss 3 or 4 ice cubes into your dryer, with the wrinkled garment, and let the dryer run for 10 minutes. The ice cubes will create steam inside the dryer that will zap away wrinkles!

5. Check the temperature. Use cold water for dark colors than tend to bleed, and for delicate fabrics that are prone to shrinking. Warm water is best for man-made fibers and jeans. Use hot water for whites, bedding and towels.
